Encountering the Lord on the Path to Recovery
玫瑰堂關社組近日舉辦了名為「抗毒路上遇見主」的分享會，旨在支援戒毒康復者。活動邀請了「慈悲香港」胡頌恆神父及其職員，分享他們在抗毒前線的實務經驗。
分享會設有「真人圖書館」環節，由成功戒毒的「過來人」親身講述他們的奮鬥故事。此外，關社組成員亦分享了服務見證，強調以信仰為基石，與貧困弱小者同行的使命。是次活動歡迎大眾參與，共同在主愛中建立互相扶持的社區。
Rosary Church Community Care Team recently held a sharing session titled “Encountering the Lord on the Path to Recovery,” aimed at supporting individuals overcoming drug addiction. The event invited Father John Wotherspoon and his staff from MercyHK to share their practical, hands-on experience on the front lines of anti-drug efforts.
The session featured a “Human Library” segment, where individuals who have successfully recovered from drug addiction personally shared their stories of struggle. In addition, members of the Community Outreach Group shared their service testimonies, emphasizing their mission to walk alongside the poor and the vulnerable with faith as their cornerstone. The event was open to the public, inviting everyone to join in building a mutually supportive community within the Lord’s love.
